Timeline

Preface

The Shmooblesworld timeline is quite complicated and also very isolated. So, in order to make this comprehensive, I will have a list of events of known time in chronological order, and at the end will be a list of events that have an unknown date but are still important to know for the overall lore. Additionally, there will be some educated guesses made throughout the timeline that weren't explicitly noted in the Shmooblesworld index or discord. These will be marked in green to indicate that they are tentative, and can be changed when more lore comes out.

Now, in order to order some of these events, some important assumptions are made. Some of these include:

1. Shmoobles either live a very long time or do not die due to age (Melvin, for example, is 412 years old!)
2. Disease, War, Famine, and Death did not exist until the horsemen of the apocalypse were put into shmooblesworld.
3. Shmooblesworld is a world very similar to ours. However, mainly because no archeological records exist of shmoobles in this universe, the universe that these shmoobles existed in is different from ours.

Regarding the timeline, there is some important nomenclature to keep in mind:

• BSG: Stands for "Before Shmlebby's Gift." This is the main way the dates will be written, and they currently have no real-world conversion to BCE or AD.
• Nothing else lol

BSG (Before Shmlebby's Gift)

Beginning of Time

• Shmlebby creates Shmooblesworld out of primordial goo

3500 BSG

• Ostrich is born, along with 4 other shmoobles:

1. Grunt the Brave,
2. Thag the Wise,
3. Blorg the Fearless,
4. Og the Curious.

Note: Because Death was not born yet, these shmoobles are immortal (SPECULATIVE)

2000 BSG

• Gark is taken into the future by Bridget.

1232 BSG

• Ice Age is started by Evil Edward Spider

Sometime Before 0 BSG (SPECULATIVE)

• 5 Horsemen of the apocalypse are born and their characteristics along with them:

1. Pestilence (Real name: Miller)
2. War (Real Name: Crowley)
3. Famine (Real Name: Stuhldreher)
4. Death (Real Name: Layden)
5. (Honorary) Doctor Stephen*

These horsemen are likely responsible for the creation of Jotchua. (SPECULATIVE)

*Also goes by Doctor Steven or Doctor Steve N.

0 BSG

• Jotchua is created by Shmlebby as a response to the apocalypse, brings good into the world.

After Shmlebby's Gift

All the dates here will be in AD, as we use currently in our universe. Again, that is not to say that their universe is the same, but the events that happen and when they happen are pretty close to our current time. Unfortunately, there is not current translation between BSG and AD, so it is unknown how much later these events happen after the Birth of Jotchua, but it is known that they all occur after.

1323 AD

• Gark is brought by Bridget to this time and kills a dragon with just his stick.

1612 AD

• Melvin is Born.

1832 AD

• Melvin kills 97 Shmoobles (including dinosaur and dragon shmoobles) in the “Great Shmooble Massacre” of ‘32.

1864 AD

• Bridget invents the Soap Dispenser

1967 AD

• Captain Blackbeard and Shiver Me Licker have an “EXPLOSIVE” battle on March 14.

1976 AD

• The Baller balls for the first time in New Hampshire.

1997 AD

• All Ears brainwashes Ears into stealing Nears' ears.

2003 AD

• Birthday Boy's Party of '03 lasts from 2003 - 2004 AD

1. Shredder plays a sick solo,
2. Garden Defender defends the lawn.
